REGISTRATION

Registration is required and must be accompanied by the applicable fees. To assist with this process, registration forms are included in the back of this course catalog.

To register, please complete the registration form and mail it to the church with your check, made payable to The Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, marked CCS, or bring it to special enrollment sessions at the church prior to each term.

In general, registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make every effort to register early. Signing up in advance ensures that the classes can be offered at the scheduled time.

Class size is limited in two ways. Instructors may choose to limit enrollment if they feel the value of the course will thereby be enhanced. In addition, available room size may also require a limit to be placed on the class size.

Visitors and guests will be directed to classes with available space. We ask visitors returning a second time to register and pay the required fee.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS
The Center for Christian Studies reserves the right to cancel any class. In this event, notification will be given and the applicable fees refunded if an alternative class is not chosen.

BOOKS
Many of the books which are recommended reading will be available for purchase at cost. Payment is expected when the books are ordered.

FEES
The Center for Christian Studies is supported by the membership of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Only a nominal materials fee is required for each course. This fee is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Fees do not go far toward meeting the expenses of the Center.

Your voluntary contribution to help offset these expenses would be greatly appreciated. Please identify your contribution in the space provided on the registration form. The Center is grateful for the generous gifts from individuals who have allowed the program to expand its offerings and reach beyond the walls of Fifth Avenue.

NO TAPING POLICY
To ensure the comfort and privacy of all participants in the classes, taping of any kind is not permitted in the classroom.

CHILD CARE
Childcare is available for pre-school children on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm.

Childcare may be available for children on the evenings of CCS classes from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and Saturdays during the designated class time if arrangements are made three weeks in advance. Please call Mary Bostic at 212.247.0490 at the time you register for a class.
